At VMS Institute of Nursing, Batala, we take pride in offering a well-equipped and comprehensive infrastructure that creates an enriching learning environment for aspiring nursing professionals. Our facilities are thoughtfully designed to support academic excellence, practical training, and the holistic development of our students.

Community Health Nursing Lab

The Community Health Nursing Lab is designed to train students in providing preventive, promotive, and rehabilitative healthcare to individuals, families, and communities. Equipped with models, charts, and demonstration materials, the lab helps students develop skills in conducting health surveys, delivering health education, and implementing community-based nursing interventions.

Child Health Nursing Lab

The Child Health Nursing Lab is equipped with pediatric manikins, models, and teaching aids to train students in delivering healthcare to infants, children, and adolescents. It provides hands-on practice in growth monitoring, immunization, neonatal care, and managing common pediatric conditions, preparing students to offer safe and compassionate care to young patients.

Smart Class

“The Smart Class is a technology-enabled learning space equipped with interactive boards, projectors, audio-visual systems, and digital resources. It enhances teaching and learning by integrating multimedia content, virtual demonstrations, and real-time collaboration, making complex nursing concepts easier to understand and more engaging for students.

Anatomy & Physiology Lab

The Anatomy & Physiology Lab is equipped with anatomical models, charts, specimens, and microscopes to help students understand the structure and functions of the human body. It provides hands-on learning in identifying organs, systems, and tissues, enabling students to build a strong foundation for clinical practice in nursing and healthcare.

Nursing Foundation Lab

The Nursing Foundation Lab is equipped with hospital beds, mannequins, medical instruments, and simulation setups to train students in essential nursing skills. It provides hands-on practice in basic patient care, clinical procedures, and infection control, preparing students to deliver safe and effective nursing services in real healthcare settings.

Library

Our well-stocked library houses over 3,773 volumes, encompassing a diverse range of subjects including educational philosophy, psychology, sociology, administration, guidance and counseling, and research methodologies. The library subscribes to 25 journals and newspapers, providing current academic resources. With seating for approximately 100 readers, the library offers a conducive environment for study and research. Services such as reference assistance, bibliographic support, user education, reprographic services, and internet access are available. Additionally, a book bank facility supports students in need throughout the academic session.

Beyond academic resources, our campus includes well-ventilated classrooms, recreational areas, and facilities for indoor and outdoor games, promoting a balanced educational experience. Hostel accommodations for both boys and girls, medical facilities, and seamless internet connectivity further enhance student life on campus.
